The things people usually ask, all in one place. We’ll add to this as the day gets closer.

• What should I wear?

  For the ladies: wear whatever feels good to you. Short, midi or maxi, anything comfortable for a summer evening in Missouri. We love color, so bring it on, from pastels and florals to something bright. If it’s in your closet and it makes you smile, it’s perfect.

  For the gents: think summer wedding guest. A light suit, or slacks and a collared shirt, works great.

  Please leave white and ivory for the bride.

• Can I bring a guest?

  Because space is limited, we can only host the guests named on your invitation. If you have a plus-one, it’ll show up when you RSVP. Questions? Feel free to email us.

• Are kids welcome?

  We’re keeping the guest list to adults. If your kids are invited, you’ll see their names when you RSVP.

• Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

  Both! The ceremony is outdoors under a pavilion, and fans will be running to keep everyone comfortable. After a cocktail hour, we’ll move indoors for dinner and dancing. We will have a backup plan in case there is any nasty weather.

• Where is the venue?

  Little Piney Lodge, 19 Little Piney Lane, Hermann, MO 65041, about an hour and a half from St. Louis. Get directions, or see the Travel page for travel tips and places to stay.

• When do I need to RSVP?

  We’ll open RSVPs soon and share the deadline here. You’ll be able to change your answer any time before then.

• Where should I stay?

  Hermann is a small town and rooms go quickly in the summer, so we’d suggest booking early. The Travel page has a few places to start, and we’ll add more as we find them.

• Is there parking at the lodge?

  Yes! There is plenty of parking on-site, and everything is within easy walking distance.

• I have a dietary need or allergy.

  Let us know when you RSVP! There’s a spot for each guest to share allergies or dietary needs, and we’ll make sure the kitchen knows.

• Is the venue accessible?

  There are paths to each place you’ll need to be on the property, and Little Piney will provide golf carts for any guests who would like a ride! If you have questions or need a hand getting around, email us and we’ll make sure you’re taken care of.

• Can I request a song?

  Please do! There’s a spot for song requests on the RSVP page, and we’ll work our favorites into the night.
